REPORT EXCLUSIVELY BY ABY ANTONY  Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 opened to a big start on Friday and it's continued to fare well at the box office despite the winter chills up north. Just three days later, the film's already earned over 60 crores.

The film fetched an excellent start on Friday earning 21.10 croreit dipped 
on Saturday with 19.06 crore, but witnessed a massive growth on Sunday, earning approximately 24-25 crores (estimates; final total could vary).

Business was also affected in North India due to the cold wave. Elsewhere, the film has set new records. Overall, the 3-day total has been simply fantastic. The film collected approximately Rs. 64 crore to Rs.65 crore nett in its opening weekend.

Skyfall is the twenty-third spy film in the Eon Productions James Bond series, produced for MGM, Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment.[2] It features Daniel Craig's third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film's villain. The film was directed by Sam Mendes and written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
Mendes was approached to direct the film following the release of Quantum of Solace in 2008. However, production was suspended when MGM encountered financial troubles, and would not resume until December 2010. During this time, Mendes remained attached to the project as a "consultant", though original screenwriter Peter Morgan left the project during the suspension. Once production resumed, Logan, Purvis and Wade continued writing what would be the final version of the script, incorporating Morgan's ideas in it. Filming began in November 2011, and primarily took place in the United Kingdom, China and Turkey.
Skyfall premiered on 23 October 2012,[3] and was released in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2012;[4] it is also the first James Bond film to be released in IMAX venues.[5][6] The film's release coincided with the 50th anniversary of the series, which began with Dr. No in 1962.

In the Bible, the story of David and Goliath is all about how the meek and innocent David kills the philistine giant Goliath through a slingshot in the battle of
Philistine and Israel. The movie, which deals with the concept of the strong and weak, has Jayasurya playing David while Anoop Menon appears as Goliath.

In Anoop Menon’s words, “We have taken the biblical characters and given it modern-day interpretation. It will show how in every David there resides a strong and courageous Goliath who can win even a difficult battle. The movie will be a complete entertainer”.

Jayasurya who plays the innocent young man David, says that the movie will deal with a fresh subject that no Malayalam film has dealt with. “The film’s subject is new and my character David is an innocent countryside boy. He is capable of many things and has strong love in his heart,” says the young-gen heart throb.
